Special Needs Access

The Ambassador is committed to providing superior service to all patrons and takes all reasonable measures to accommodate guests with disabilities. We pride ourselves on ensuring that every patron of the venue is treated with respect and equality, and has an enjoyable & comfortable experience while in the theatre.

We are especially sensitive to the needs of patrons with disabilities, and provide this information so all patrons may avail themselves to the services of the theatre.

Our management staff are available on site daily during exhibitions to help patrons with any special needs issues or who need assistance in any way. Please feel free to ask a hand when you arrive. Special needs bookings:
Those with special needs can book general admission tickets via Ticketmaster.ie, by calling Ticketmaster on 0818 719 300, or by calling to The Ambassador Box Office at the venue between 10am and 6pm daily during exhibitions.

If you have a special accommodation request (e.g. wheelchair access, medical needs, hearing or sighting impairment etc) just drop us an email on info@ambassadordublin.com or call us on 01 873 4686 to let us know what day you are coming down, and what assistance you require, then we will be expecting you on the day and will ensure you are looked after.

Please note, wheelchair patrons are entitled to bring a carer with them free of charge. Just book a ticket for yourself and we will accommodate the carer on the day.

Wheelchair Access:
All areas of The Ambassador including the lobby, auditorium, balcony & stage areas are fully wheelchair accessible, both ramps & lifts are used in various areas. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom available.

Wheelchair Accessible Parking:
There are a number of wheelchair accessible parking spots in the area: for example in North Great Georges St, in Parnell Square (one on North side outside Municipal Gallery, another on the Western side), on Parnell Street (South side, from the west side of the loading bay just west of the boundary wall of Nos.89/9), and outside Headway Ireland information centre on Parnell Street. Assistant Dogs:
All trained assistance dogs are welcome in The Ambassador.

Other special needs or concerns:
If yourself or a guest of the venue has a condition that you feel might affect your experience, for example diabetes, autism, photosensitive epilepsy, recent injury, medical condition, hearing or sight impairment etc, our staff are only too glad to help and ensure you are happy & safe so that you enjoy the event. Please feel free to ask questions in advance of your arrival, or ask to speak to a manager while in the theatre so that they can assist you if necessary.

Information for families:

Pram Access: We have a limited amount of space for pram storage during exhibitions. Our ushers will help if they can, please ask for assistance upon your arrival.

Baby Changing Facilities: We have baby changing facilities available.
